Local tennis club mixes and matches
Socorro Tennis Association held its monthly tournament this weekend at the Sedillio Park tennis courts. The “Summer Sizzler” tournament was held on Saturday, Aug. 14, and 11 people came to play. Athletes could either play in mixed doubles or single matches.

Local tennis players are again invited to participate in both singles and doubles tennis leagues scheduled to start on Sept. 4. This is a good opportunity to play tennis at your own skill level on a local community tennis court. The only criteria for skill level placement is the ability to play.
