bit.ly Rafael Nadal and Robin Soderling square off in the final of the French Open shortly. Soderling is the only player to have ever beaten Nadal at the French Open. In this video I discuss the tactics I expect to see from each player. I expect Rafa to try and use his forehand to pull Soderling wide off the court on his backhand. To counteract this tactic, Soderling can hit a “big shot at a big target,” which will cut down on Nadal’s ability to generate angles. An important side note is that if Nadal wins the tournament he’ll retake the No. 1 ranking in the world from Roger Federer.
